Surgical Ward
The Surgical ward offers institute-style care for up to eight patients in four well-equipped rooms. Every bed´s position can be manipulated electrically. Each bed unit continuously monitors patient´s vital functions in the post-surgical care. The air-conditioned rooms have a TV, radio, internet and an en-suite.
Performed surgical procedures include:
- Breast-preserving operations of breast cancers that utilize oncological plastic surgery techniques of breast reconstruction
- Modern procedures of surgical treatment of the impalpable breast tumor´s
- Breast removal surgery following the cancer diagnosis with an immediate breast reconstruction utilizing techniques of oncological plastic surgery
- Sentinel lymph node biopsy
- Axillar lymphonode dissection
- Breast carcinoma recurrence surgery
- Non-cancerous breast tumor surgery
- Development of endoscopic breast surgery
The surgical Ward includes a peroperative bioptical laboratory. The laboratory is used to investigate the tumor, its edges, as well as the associated lymphatic node during the surgical procedure.
