Radio Diagnostic Ward

Radio Diagnostic Ward offers integrated diagnostic. Following the initial screening, mammo-diagnostic doctor suggest a sequence of tests necessary for a correct diagnosis of the illness.

The Ward is equipped with a modern technology able to detect the source regions of breasts pathology. The equipment is particularly useful in detecting impalpable tumors down to a size of several milimeters.

• Diagnostic mammography - screening and diagnostics
• Ultra sonography / including pre-surgical tumor sonography /
• FNAC biopsy / thin needle biopsy /
• Core-cut biopsy
• Duxtography
• Vacuum mammothomy
• Introduction of localisers to impalpable lesions

The Radio Diagnostic Ward, and the whole hospital, is equipped with a system that allows immediate transmission and archiving of digital optical documentation / PACS system /.
