• Mammacenter of Saint Agatha is a hospital specialised in a comprehensive diagnosis and treatment of cancerous and other illnesses of breast.
• Mammacenter of Saint Agatha was founded by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Banska Bystrica.Mammacenter´s status of a specialised hospital was awarded by the decision Ministry of Health of Slovak Republic on August 12, 2009.
• Mammacenter of Saint Agatha opened its doors to first patients in Novamber 2009. It has since established contractual agreements with insurance companies Dovera and Union.

Mammacenter of Saint Agathais located on Belveder hill in the multi-functional Moyses House, which was named after Bishop Moyses of Banska Bystrica Diocese, a wellknown national and cultural figure of the 10 th century.

The multi-functional Moyses House also houses Pharmacy of St. Agatha, Ltd., which offers comprehensive range of products tailored to the needs of patients undergoing oncological treatment. For refreshment of the soul as well as the body, Moyses House also includes Adoration chapel as well as restaurant Café Moyses. Saint Agatha, the patron of the Mammacenter, lived in Sicily in the third century. She is the patron of women living with tumor breast illness. According to the legend, she died a martyr for the Christian faith, and had both breasts cut off during her torture.
